Units of Study
Unlike prior levels of programming, the grade 12 digital arts course is not based on units of study. Instead, the course is geared towards individualized, independent learning. The course is divided into three blocks. For each block, students are expected to research, create, and reflect on a finalized work of art. This structure allows senior students with plans to pursue the arts in a postsecondary setting to build a portfolio of works that reflects their personal style and interests.
Final Evaluation
As part of their final evaluation, students prepare their work for a specialized senior Arts Showcase and produce a portfolio of their work.
